I finally have a copy of Uncle Kracker's new album. I gave up trying to find it in a store at a reasonable price so I ordered it online and just got it today. I also got 2 other copies as gifts. There are a couple of girls that I'm pursueing as friends, and hoping to have romance. Which brings me to something I've thought about before. I define many things differently from people and some of these definitions have gotten me in trouble, some have surprisingly haven't and others are just different views. There is one I would like to bring up now that I think is accepted by many but not usually stated. I think there are 3 different kinds of relationships you can have with the gender you are attracted to (see that keeping it vague enough so as not to exclude anyone). There is Freindship basically compatible personalities. There is Erotic. This one is strictly for a physical pleasure, think friends with benefits or better yet no strings sex. The last one is Romantic. It requires both an attraction to the mind and the body but there is something more. Something that resonates with the soul, for lack of a better term. But then it gets confusing because I think you can also have an Erotic relationship and a Friendship and have no romance, no soul resonating. I know leave you with 2 questions. 1) What do you think of this explanation, agree/disagree why? 2) What definitions do you have that are different from the norm? |
